Acceptable Use & Legal Compliance Policy

1. Who We Are

ShopYoloIDs.com is owned and operated by DATAMAP INC, a commercial printing, card personalization and data encoding company located at 719 W Southgate Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85041, United States. We are a business-to-business service provider. We are not a government agency, we are not affiliated with any government body, and nothing we produce is issued, endorsed or authorized by any government authority.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use our services to produce cards that are clearly private, commercial or organizational in nature, including:

• membership and subscription cards for gyms, clubs, associations, unions and cooperatives;
• loyalty, rewards, punch and stored-value gift cards for retail, hospitality and food service;
• employee and contractor identification badges issued by a private employer for its own workforce;
• visitor, contractor and vendor passes for private facilities;
• student, library and campus cards issued by private schools, colleges and training providers;
• access control and door-entry cards for privately owned buildings and systems;
• event, festival, conference, backstage and VIP credentials;
• hotel and resort room key cards;
• NFC and QR business cards, review cards and marketing cards;
• inventory, asset tracking and internal logistics tags.

Cards we produce are not government identification. They carry no legal status as proof of identity, age, citizenship, residency or driving privilege, and must not be presented as if they do.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use ShopYoloIDs.com, directly or indirectly, to design, order, obtain or distribute any of the following:

3.1 Government identification and credentials

• driver licenses, learner permits or driving privileges of any state, territory or country;
• state or national identification cards, passports, passport cards, visas, green cards or residency permits;
• birth certificates, social security cards, or any vital records document;
• law enforcement, military, federal agent or government employee credentials;
• any replica, reproduction, simulation, "novelty" version or look-alike of the above, however labeled;
• any card bearing an official government seal, emblem, coat of arms, flag-derived security background, guilloche pattern, hologram, microprint, ghost image or other security feature associated with a government-issued document.

3.2 Fraudulent or illegal purposes

• cards intended to misrepresent identity, age, citizenship, immigration status, employment or professional licensure;
• cards intended to facilitate identity theft, account takeover, payment fraud, benefits fraud, tax fraud or any financial crime;
• cards intended to gain unauthorized access to buildings, systems, services, transportation or restricted areas;
• cards bearing data belonging to another person without that person's authorization;
• any product whose manufacture, sale or use violates US federal law, the law of any US state, or the law of the destination jurisdiction.

3.3 Third-party rights and offensive content

• counterfeit goods or cards bearing another party's trademark, logo or copyrighted artwork without authorization;
• content that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, or that promotes violence or hatred;
• content that exploits minors or depicts sexual abuse;
• instructions or materials promoting the manufacture of unlawful documents or illegal activity.

4. Order Review

Every order is reviewed before production. Our review may include examination of artwork, text, encoding data, order history and the stated purpose of the cards. We may request additional information — for example, confirmation that you are the authorized issuer of an employee badge program or the operator of the membership program being printed — before releasing a proof or starting production.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without liability, to decline, cancel, hold or modify any order that we reasonably believe violates this policy or applicable law. Where we decline an order after payment, we will refund all amounts paid within 10 business days.

5. Your Representations

By placing an order you represent and warrant that:

• the cards are for a permitted use under section 2 and not for any prohibited use under section 3;
• you are the authorized issuer of the card program, or are acting with the issuer's authority;
• you own or are licensed to use all artwork, logos, trademarks, photographs and data you provide;
• all personal data contained in variable data files was collected lawfully and you have the right to have it printed;
• the cards will not be presented as, or used as, government-issued identification.

You agree to indemnify DATAMAP INC against any claim, loss, fine, penalty or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these representations.

6. Cooperation With Authorities

DATAMAP INC cooperates with legitimate law enforcement and regulatory requests. Where permitted by law, we may disclose order records, artwork, correspondence and payment information in response to a valid subpoena, court order, warrant or government request, and we may report suspected unlawful activity to the appropriate authority.

7. Trademark and Copyright Notice

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe artwork submitted to us infringes your rights, notify us at [email protected] with details of the right claimed, the allegedly infringing material and your contact information. We will review and, where appropriate, suspend the order pending resolution.

8. No Legal Advice

Information on this website is general information about our services and is not legal advice. Whether a particular card program complies with the laws of your state, industry or jurisdiction is your responsibility; consult qualified counsel where appropriate.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, regulation or our services. The updated version takes effect when posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of ShopYoloIDs.com after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
